Director of Information Technology
Robert Manzanares is director of information technology for BaronHR Family of Staffing Companies. He is responsible for overall management of the company’s IT systems, including technology assessments, IT strategy development, vendor relations, staffing, and hardware and software implementation. He also serves on the company’s senior leadership team.
Manzanares has more than two decades experience in IT systems administration. Before joining BaronHR Family of Staffing Companies, he was systems administrator/manager for Madison Marquette, a major real estate investment management and operating company with properties throughout the United States. He oversaw a variety of technical projects, helped manage internal IT staff, and counseled management on technology issues related to the company’s strategic growth and day-to-day operations.
Prior to that he was a computer support specialist with WorkSource California, which helped meet a variety of employment and training needs in collaboration with such organizations as the Los Angeles Economic Development Corporation. Manzanares administered user accounts, addressed various technical issues, trained users and ensured compliance with relevant service-level agreements, among other responsibilities. He previously served as an operations specialist in the Novaquest/WebVision data center, providing Internet security and customer support to more than 300 clients.
Manzanares has extensive training in various aspects of computer hardware, software and systems, including Microsoft Sharepoint, Citrix XenApp 6.5, Cisco CCNA and NT4.0 administration.
